This is our best japanese
samurai armor that we currently have in stock, for the following
reasons: the Helmet is signed Munehisa saku, which is a listed Myochin samurai helmet maker from Tenmon Period, about 1532. The Tehen kanamono, the 62 plates, the gold lacquer mons, all seem to be of very
top quality to me. The giant gold maedate is very old, bigger and better than any one of this kind that I have ever seen before and is worth over $3,500+
since it is quite
rare and quite
real and quite nice. This
armor is #122 and is $18,000.
This armor needs a little bit of relacing as it is so old but if you will let me do it for free; I will have it done by the best skilled craftsman in Tokyo whom I know well.

I just like this armor. Why? Well, the Japanese Samurai Helmet is powerful strong solid iron with no lacquer of any kind on it. Being an old Samurai Sword Dealer, that means I am
a lover of strong samurai sword steel --- and this is it. It just seems very martial to me, and reminds me of swords --- the color is wonderful meaning that it has taken on an excellent deep black since the steel is so good. It is made for fighting. The Tehen Kanamono at top is excellent, not showy, just a deep Shakudo black alloy of 5 rings. Nice!
Price is
USD $12,500 and yes we still accept U.S. dollars. This Samurai Suit of Armor is #188 .....
Many photos of this Samurai Armor Here !!!
This armor is not so old --- perhaps 40 years or so. But the shoulder guards make it an O-Yoroi and the helmet I thought was very nice with huge red Shikoro
I need to get it up higher in the air to take a better picture of it, but it's quite heavy and I haven't had time yet.
Anyway, it's USD $5,600 and its inventory number is Japanese Samurai Armor #125.
A number of good Photos are HERE !!!
This armor has a watered steel 62 plate helmet that is of very nice quality --- and is
SIGNED and DATED.
The date is Tenmon 2 meaning the year 1533. The signature is Tomonobu with a Kakihan - not a famous maker but I think he did a good job.
The Tehen Kanamono (on top of the Kabuto) is flat, and iron, and almost of a piece with the ridges of the Kabuto: a true armor maker's design, rarely seen.
I would guess that this gives it more power and protection than the other Shakudo and Copper and Gold ones usually see.
Wonderful gold mons on the Fukugaeshi turnbacks, nice Iyozane style throughout,
You can see from the photos of the inside of the helmet bowl (Hachi) that this armor has a great helmet. Samurai Armor #155, price is SOLD

This Samurai Armor is #197 ----- The price is USD $4,600 --- This is a recent arrival.
As I tried to explain, on my top page, this suit of armor is less than 50 years old. I don't get these very often, but when I do they sell very quickly.
This type of modern armor is displayed in rich people's houses in Japan, or rich company's offices in Tokyo. They are much better made than the ones being made now and cost less.
This suit has the bear fur shoes and leggings, making it quite interesting and a little bit rare. There is a box with a family crest. Send me an e-mail if you like it and want to buy it. O-yoroi style.
... there is a gold family crest (Mon) in the center of the chest, on the front: and the same crest is in gold on the box.
This Samurai Armor is #193 --- The price on this Samurai Armour is USD $3,900
As seen on my top page, this is a farmer is also less than 50 years old. In fact it is made very much in the same style as another suit that I got with it, and that is also for sale.
This type of Japanese samurai armor is usually order made for a rich family in Tokyo, to be displayed in their house or in the company offices. Since these suits are so affordable,
they usually sell quite quickly -- and, they are more affordable and better made, then the ones being made now.
This suit of armor has an armor box but the makings were lost by the collector I bought it from, but I will add some and not change the price at all -- free to you.
If you want to buy this armor, send me an e-mail.
This armor has great Kote (arms) with BONJI (buddhist sanscrit symbols) on the hands and a unique X pattern of iron above ... the Dou needs relacing in several places
and the low price is because you yourself need to do a little work ... Inventory #164 and the price is USD $5,500.
